Rossendale
Hyper-local skill swap network!
We are Many Hands, Rossendale’s hyper-local skill swap network. Here, neighbourly help is the currency. No money changes hands—we trade hours instead…
How it works:
Lend an hour.
Help a neighbour with a project. Anything from indoor DIY, garden prep, painting, or flatpack.
Earn an Hour.
Every hour you lend earns you an hour of help and every new member gets 3 hours credited immediately to get the ball rolling.
Get Help Back.
Spend your earned hours to get a hand on your own home, garden or community projects!

FAQ:
Who Can Join?
Everyone has something to offer.
You don't need a formal trade or a strong back to participate. We work together. If you are unable to physically help with heavy lifting or DIY, keeping the crew fed, baking, and brew-making absolutely count towards your hours!
How does the WhatsApp group work?
Clean and simple.
It’s a clean, admin-only announcement board. You won't get flooded with spam, just local jobs posted as they come up, with 3 free hours waiting for you when you join.
Who are you?
We’re your neighbours.
We are ordinary Rossendale residents who need an extra hand around the house or garden—without the tradesperson price tag. Whether you’re a seasoned DIYer or just willing to hold a ladder, lend a tool, or help assemble a flatpack, Many Hands is for anyone who believes neighbours are better off helping neighbours.
